Thomas Pizzinga was born in Cecina, a little town in Tuscany, where he had spent his childhood, before moving to Florence to study Graphic Design at L.A.B.A. (Libera Accademia di Belle Arti) in 2010. His interest in art and an experimental attitude helps him to deal with new expressions of the digital devices, allowing him to grow up as a designer. In 2012 he founded Elephant Studio, a young and passionate collective of professionals specializing in high quality live performance media production. Amongst its collaborators are world class festivals such as: Time Warp DE (Mannheim), Time Warp AR (Buenos Aires), SONUS Festival (Novalja, Croatia), Love Family Park (Germany) and Italian clients like M.I.F. Festival (Rimini) and many more. Other highlights include producing a documentary for Dub Fx’s “Italian Tour” in 2013 which lead to designing Dub Fx “Theory of Harmony European Tour” light and visual show in 2014 for 45 gigs tour around Europe; collaboration with Plastikman team at SONAR festival, Barcelona and ongoing collaboration with Piero Fragola at the project ANGLE, whose live set involves a 3D mapping on a self-supporting structure. Among Thomas’s most important collaborations are BMW, Mini, Autogrill, Knauf, Unicredit, Guess, Assicurazioni Generali, Souvenir, L’officiel Italia, Monster MGMT, Mc&Saatchi, Molteni Farmaceutici.
